The Opel factory in Zaragoza starts production of the new, 100% electric Corsa. Today, the King of Spain, Felipe VI, the Executive President of Groupe PSA, Carlos Tavares, and the CEO of Opel, Michael Lohscheller, have inaugurated the start of the manufacturing of the new Opel Corsa.
The plant of the PSA Group in Figueruelas, Zaragoza, was inaugurated in 1982 with the manufacture of the first generation of the Opel Corsa. Home to the following generations of one of the most successful models in the history of the brand, of which nearly 14 million units have been manufactured, it has now begun to exclusively produce the new generation of the Corsa, the sixth. A “made in Spain” model, which from Zaragoza will be distributed to the rest of Spain and to all international markets.
